FRANKLIN — Plans are underway for the Tenth Annual Choose Franklin Community Day, sponsored by the Franklin Rotary Club, which will be held on Saturday, May 10 at Odell Park in Franklin.
The event will begin with a parade at 10 a.m. which will step off at Franklin High School and proceed easterly to downtown turning on Smith Street and ending at Odell Park. This year's theme is "Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Mother's Day".
A fair will be held at the park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include vendors, crafts, food, games, amusements and entertainment. Hope Community Church will provide a Wildlife Encounters show. Amusements will include a laser tag area, bounce house, climbing wall with bungee stations and other inflatable activities.
