Giuseppe's presents 20th annual JTG Music Memorial Extravaganza

LACONIA — Gather round the stage at Giuseppe's Pizzeria & Ristorante on Sunday, March 30 to be part of the 20th Annual JTG Music Memorial Extravaganza. A 12- hour live music spectacular to benefit the Gnerre Music Scholarship Fund. Since 1996 more than $30,000 has been awarded to 34 graduating Lakes Region area high school students who were continuing their education in the field of music.

Mike Brien will be kicking off the show at noon followed by 12 consecutive hours of live musical entertainment performed by more than 38 musicians who are donating their time and talents for this fun and festive fund raising affair. The featured acts throughout the day and evening include solo artists, duos, trios, and full bands. The vast array of musical genres to be enjoyed include: folk music, rock and roll, blues, Americana, bluegrass, original compositions, and alternative rock.

The JTG Music Memorial Extravaganza is held each year at Giuseppe's to honor and remember its founder, Joe "Giuseppe" Gnerre who passed in 1995. To help raise funds a Taylor 322E Grand Mahogany Top Acoustic Electric Guitar valued at $1,598 donated in part by Northern Lights Music Store of Littleton will be raffled. Tickets for the Taylor Guitar Raffle are $20 each and may be purchased during the show or in advance at Giuseppe's. Only 100 will be sold, and need not be present to win.

Also, there will be a silent auction with items donated by The Inns at Mill Falls by the Lake, New Hampshire Distributors, Amoskeag Beverages, Lakes Region Coca Cola, Southern Wine and Spirits, Lake Region Therapeutic Massage, Giuseppe's Pizzeria and more. There is no cover charge for admittance however there will be a $10 suggested donation kindly accepted at the door.

The Musician Line Up beginning at Noon:
Michael Brien, Jeff Lines, Chris Kelly, Dr. Jack, John Theriault, Don Bergeron & Steve Colombo, The Red Heads, Justin Jaymes, Pocket Change, Paul Hubert, Paul Connor and Lou Porrazzo, Joel Cage, The Wharf Rats, Joey Gnerre, Billy Gnerre, Tyler Gnerre, Paul Luff, Rick Page, Michael Bourgeois, Paul Warnick and Friends, Alivia Aubut, Michael Loughlin, Jennifer Karnan and closing the show will be George and Louise Belli.

Scholarship applications are now available for qualified graduating High School students who will be continuing their education in the field of Music, Musical Arts, or Music Theatre at Inter-lakes High School, Moultonborough Academy, Laconia High School, Gilford High School, and Newfound Regional High School and Plymouth High School for the upcoming 2014/2015 year.
