MEREDITH — The thirty singers of the Saint Michael's College Chorale will sing in Meredith on March 28-29.The first concert will be held on Friday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, followed by a concert on Saturday, March 29 at 5 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church in Meredith.
The Chorale is directed by Nathaniel G. Lew, Associate Professor of Music at Saint Michael's, a liberal-arts residential Catholic college located in the Burlington area of Vermont. Pianist Annemieke Spoelstra of Sharon VT will accompany the group. Among the Chorale members are two students who are residents of the area Kelly Ainsworth, junior, of Meredith and David J. Tetreault, junior, of Bristol.
The Friday night Chorale will perform a concert including works of Palestrina, Vivaldi, and Mozart, as well as spirituals and collegiate songs. Admission is free, and a collection will be taken for the church. For more information call (603) 279-6271.
