Soupathon held to benefit Hands Across the Table

LACONIA — Hands Across the Table will hold their 3rd Annual Soupathon on Sunday, February 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. Due to overwhelming attendance last year, the event has been moved to the St. Andre Bessette Parish Hall on Gilford Avenue.

Eight all you can eat soups, including matzo ball, clam chowder, pasta fagioli, secret recipe vegetable, butternut squash, Mexican tortilla, corn chowder and chili will be served along with two salads, crackers and homemade bread sticks, desserts, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.

This year, HATT will offer a silent service auction with great items including hot air balloon rides for one, two and four people, golf lessons, boat ride and cocktails for 4-6 people on Lake Winnipesaukee, 200 tulips planted on your property Fall 2014, manicures, massages, cut your own Christmas tree, landscape and garden consultation, computer repair gift certificate, antique evaluation, chocolates, gift certificates and many more.

Cost to attend is $10 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and $25 for families of 4 or more. Proceeds will benefit Hands Across the Table that offers a free weekly hot meal at the Boys and Girls Club. For further information visit the HATT's Facebook page or call 524-5800.
