Entrain to perform at Voices Against Violence Ball on February 8

PLYMOUTH — Voices Against Violence, with the help of the  band Entrain, will hold its annual fundraising dinner and ball Saturday, February 8 from 6–11 p.m. at the Common Man Inn in Plymouth. The 2014 theme is "Wonderland" and costumes are invited.

A silent auction held throughout the evening will augment the festivities, tempting you with items such as books, pottery, gift certificates, ultralight plane flights from Plymouth Airport and ski passes.

"This is a significant fundraiser for Voices, " said Board member Betsy Cheney. As a nonprofit organization we rely on grants, gifts and fundraisers to pay our bills. Over the past year our professional staff helped more than 800 people, providing information and support to victims, their family and friends, community members, and professionals on issues of domestic violence, children who witness domestic violence, sexual violence and harassment, stalking, human trafficking and bullying. We also operate a safe shelter that can house up to five families at a time. All our services are confidential and free of charge.

Tickets are $55 per person and include a buffet dinner presented by the Common Man Inn. Tickets are available at the UPS store on Main Street in Plymouth, or online via PayPal at voicesagainstviolence.com.
