HOLDERNESS — The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center will host a Groundhog Day Celebration on Saturday, February 1 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Attendees can learn about what really happens on February 2 and solve puzzles about groundhogs. Discover the answers of how groundhogs are related to woodchucks, where they go and why the disappear in the winter. Interactive games, crafts, storytelling, outdoor activities, and a visit with a live groundhog will occur throughout the day.
