MEREDITH — The Altrusa Club of Meredith will be hosting it's 2nd Community Dinner on Thursday, January 23, at 5:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church on Highland Street.
This venture is partially funded from a grant that the Meredith Altrusa Club received from Altrusa International Foundation, Inc. to improve the economic well-being and quality of life through the Foundation's commitment to community service.
This dinner is free of charge and will provide members of the community, who may otherwise not have the chance, the opportunity to enjoy a good nutritious meal in the company of neighbors.
The menu for the evening consists of baked ham, scalloped potatoes, carrots, tossed salad, rolls, gingerbread, cookies, milk, tea and coffee.
As seating is limited, reservations will be required. Call Shirley at 279-8772 to reserve a seat. All ages are welcome and encouraged to join. There is ample parking in the church parking lot and the venue is handicap accessible.
