SANDWICH — An Art in the Age Craft Spirits Pairing Dinner presented by The Tamworth Lyceum and hosted at the Corner House Inn will be held on Sunday, January 19 starting at 6 p.m. Special guest Warren Bobrow, author of Apothecary Cocktails, will be artfully concocting the libations while discussing cocktail antiquity and the relationship between spirits and dining.
First Course: Chorizo & Asparagus "Pigs-in-a-Blanket" with Apple Dijon mustard dipping sauce and Art in the Age Root and Rye.
Second Course: New England Clams and Mussels with lemongrass, coconut milk and curry and Thai Basil Fizz with Art in the Age Sage.
Third Course: Rustic Turkey Pot Pie and the Mead Refresher.
Fourth Course: English Trifle and Hot Buttered Rum.
The four-course dinner is $55 a person, including tax and gratuity. Copies of Apothecary Cocktails: Restorative Drinks From Yesterday And Today will also be available for purchase and signed by the author.
