BELMONT — Pike Industries has declared their 7th annual food drive a major success, as employees collected over 1,366 pounds of food for pantries across New Hampshire and Maine.
Beneficiaries of the food drive include the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Laconia and donation centers in Farmington, Berlin, Colebrook, Manchester, the Seacoast Region and the Upper Valley in New Hampshire. Officers from the company delivered over 720 pounds of food to the St. Vincent de Paul Pantry in time for the holidays.
Pike Industries also matched the food donations with financial contributions, bringing the total amounts to $4,676.96.
"This year's food drive has been our most successful to-date," said Lindsey Mills, who coordinated the drive. "Pike Industries would like to thank everyone who contributed to this important effort."
