Exec. Council candidate Boothby visiting Center Harbor, Laconia this week

CENTER HARBOR — Executive Council candidate Christopher Boothby, small business owner and former Belknap County Commissioner, announced two meet-and-greet events for the Lakes Region. The first event will be held today, January 7 at 5 p.m. at the Mug by the Bay Restaurant. The second event will be held on Wednesday, January 8 at My Coffeehouse in Laconia.

Boothby is a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, small-business owner, and a community activist. He and his wife, Maren, are owners of Boothby Therapy Services. In 1998, Boothby was elected Belknap County Commissioner, a position he held until 2010.

"We have been across the state, going to events and meeting with business, community, and political leaders across the state," Boothby said, "We have also had meet-and-greets, which have been well-attended. From now until Jan. 21, we will have more than 10 of these events throughout the district."

The Center Harbor event will be hosted by hosted by Amy Elfline and Paul Ursillo. The Laconia event will be hosted by Steve Nedeau.
