Moultonborough Library Poetry Night to feature Robert Demaree

MOULTONBOROUGH — Robert Demaree will be the featured reader at the Moultonborough Library Poetry Night on Tuesday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. An Open Mic will follow the featured reader.

Demaree is the author of four collections of poems, including Mileposts (2009), published by Beech River Books. He is a retired school administrator with over 650 poems published or accepted by 150 periodicals, including The Louisville Review, the Aurorean and miller's pond. His poems received first place in 2013 competitions sponsored by the Poetry Society of New Hampshire and the Burlington Writers Club. He lives in Wolfeboro, N.H. and Burlington, N.C.

Priscilla Burlingham, program founder, said, "All are welcome to participate and to listen. Bring some words or a song and share it in the Open Mic portion."
