NHEC's Sheehy Wins Customer Service Award

PLYMOUTH —  Lisa Sheehy, Consumer Accounting/Credit Supervisor at New Hampshire Electric Co-op (NHEC), was honored recently by the Northeast Public Power Association (NEPPA) with its Carol A. Tracey Customer Service Award.
The award is presented to employees of NEPPA member utilities who deliver outstanding service to their customers through sustained, exceptional performance, and/or the development of innovative programs to meet customer needs.
In nominating Sheehy for the award, NHEC Vice President/CFO Dena DeLucca praised her ability to find solutions that helped the cooperative and the members.
"It is not always easy to balance the needs of the business with the needs of the consumer, particularly when dealing with credit or collection issues," DeLucca wrote. "Lisa handles it all seemingly effortlessly – always looking for ways to help members and sustain the business."
Sheehy is also an active volunteer, recently helping to raise funds for an injured lineworker and distribute food at a mobile food pantry sponsored by NHEC.
Sheehy was presented with the Carol A. Tracey Customer Service Award at the 2013 NEPPA Customer Service Conference held September 12 at Old Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts.
NEPPA advocates and provides resources for the 75 publicly owned electric utilities in New England. NHEC is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative serving 83,000 homes and businesses in 115 New Hampshire communities.
