LACONIA — Throughout August, the Laconia Area Community Land Trust (LACLT) is conducting a mailed survey of randomly chosen households in Laconia as part of a national effort by NeighborWorks America.
For 20 years, LACLT has been providing permanently affordable housing to low- and moderate-income households in Laconia and throughout the Lakes Region. LACLT is part of a group of similar nonprofit organizations across the country interested in residents' impressions and opinions on issues such as involvement in community activities, public services, safety, and similar topics.
Responses to the survey will be kept confidential. The mailing is a part of a national effort by NeighborWorks America, which is conducting this survey in approximately 250 communities across the country. The survey will be repeated in two years in order to measure change, if any, in resident perceptions.
