Film examines America's addiction to oil

SANBORNTON — The Sanbornton Congregational Church–UCC in partnership with the Sanbornton Town Library, is sponsoring a Film Series held on the first Wednesday of every month at the library. Show time will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the second floor of the library. Everyone is welcome.
The fourth film, to be shown on May 1, will be "FUEL", 2010 (112 minutes). Filmmaker and eco-evangelist Josh Tickell, takes us along for his 11 year journey around the world to find solutions to America's addiction to oil. A shrinking economy, a failing auto industry, rampant unemployment, an out-of-control national debt, and an insatiable demand for energy weigh heavily on all of us.
A wide range of policy makers, educators, and activists such as Woody Harrelson, Sheryl Crow, Neil Young and Willie Nelson are interviewed in this film.
A discussion will follow the film led by Rev. Ruth Martz.
