Gordon-Nash Exhibit Shows Books Are Not Just for Reading 106ar

NEW HAMPTON —  An exhibit of books transformed into artwork will on display next month at the Gordon-Nash Library.
The exhibit features examples of books that have been re-worked, reorganized, painted, cut, ornamented or embellished. Works by both local and international artists are included in the exhibit which will run all of next month. Gallery hours are: Tuesday-Thursday 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Books from all over the world are arriving—some as far away as Belgium and China!
There will be a closing reception, as some of these works are travelling a long way, on April 24, from 6 to  8 p.m.
