Published DateMEREDITH — The Lakes Region Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Committee will be meeting on Thursday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at the Lakes Region Planning Commission office, first floor conference room, Humiston Building, 103 Main Street, Meredith.
CEDS is part of a broad based, continuous planning process that addresses the short and long term economic issues of the region.
The agenda for the April meeting includes: a review and acceptance of the chapter on Related State, Regional and Local Planning, a review of the CEDS project solicitation process and proposed projects and a review of economic developments efforts in the Lakes Region.
"This is an important CEDS Committee meeting as the group will be considering local community
development and economic development projects for inclusion in the 2013 Lakes Region CEDS",
stated Kimon Koulet, the Commission's Executive Director. The CEDS is to be completed by the
end of July.
Funding for the CEDS has been provided, in part, from the U.S. Economic Development
Administration, the N.H. Electric COOP, and the N.H. Office of Energy and Planning, and the
Lakes Region Planning Commission. CEDS meetings are open to the public.
