MEREDITH — Local author Jane Rice will discuss her book "Bob Fogg and the Golden Age of NH Aviation" at the Meredith Public Library, 91 Main Street, on Tuesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m.She will describe a time when the sound of an airplane engine overhead was cause for tremendous excitement, when an airplane ride over the blue waters of Lake Winnipesaukee was the thrill of a lifetime, and a trip to the Weirs simply to see floatplanes take off and land was the high point of a summer season.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Free and open to the public. No registration required. Call 279-4303 for more information.
