History of Prescott Farm program for Laconia Historical Society

LACONIA — The Laconia Historical & Museum Society will hold its annual meeting on Monday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Laconia Public Library.
The membership will hear the report of the Nominating Committee and elect the officers for the upcoming year. Following the meeting there will be a program on the History of Prescott Farm, presented by Sarah W. Dunham, executive director of the Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center since 2008.
Dunham is a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA where she majored in anthropology & archaeology and also holds an MS in Environmental Education from Antioch University New England. Previous to working at Prescott Farm, she completed internships with Silk Farm Audubon Center in Concord and Massachusetts Audubon's Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield, MA and worked in the Education Department at Canterbury Shaker Village.
This lecture will be held at the Laconia Public Library on March 18 at 7 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served. Donations are gratefully accepted.
