SCORE Hosting Workshop on starting a business on February 13

LACONIA — Whether you are thinking of starting a business or are an experienced entrepreneur, every business needs a documented plan. SCORE Lakes Region in conjunction with Meredith Village Savings Bank is conducting an interactive workshop that will simplify the process. The event is on February 13, at the Lakes Region Chamber Conference Room, 383 South Main Street, Laconia from 5 to 8 p.m.

• Why you need to create a business plan
• How to create a business plan that will get you funding
• How to create a credible financial story
• Staying focused when managing your business
• Other essential elements
Workshop instructor, Leo Glasheen, is a nineteen year SCORE member that has mentored hundreds of aspiring or in-business entrepreneurs. He has experience in conducting Start Your Own Business and Marketing workshops using several business plan models. Glasheen has narrowed down and simplified the writing and data entry process
