Four Laconia High School students recently completed the St. Paul's Advanced Studies Program in Concord, NH. The students and their programs from left to right are: Hannah Fortson (Molecular Biology), Andrew Kerns (Mass Media), James Guyer (Artificial Intelligence), and Katelyn Bailey (Studio Arts). The summer program at St. Paul's is prestigious, highly selective, and rigorous. Students who attend often say it is a life-altering experience because they are able to pursue an area of academic interest of their choosing and study it with invested, high-achieving students like themselves. This year's group from Laconia High School cited the reading, intellectual curiousity of their peers, hands-on activities, high level of student engagement, deep questions, and friendships as some of the reasons why their summer at St. Paul's was so engaging and rewarding.
