LACONIA — The classic band Equinox from the 80’s and 90’s will be performing a reunion show at the Laconia VFW Hall on Saturday, April 14 from 7 p.m. till midnight to benefit the St. Vincent DePaul Society and local scholarships.

Original members of Equinox include Tony Brown on keyboards, Rob Court on drums, Dennis Allard playing guitar and Steve Ainsworth on bass. The band has been apart pursuing various musical projects throughout the past 13 years but have come together for this special event commissioned by Glenn Groleau, commander of VFW Post 1670.

"This band was tremendously popular back in the ‘80’s and ‘90s for the area and it will be a pleasure to see them play together again for the first time since 1998", says Groleau, who says he couldn’t think of a better way to help raise money for local charity.

The VFW features a large dance floor, plenty of parking and the is open to the public.

The order of events will include a solo show by Tony Brown at 7, King Chrome takes the stage at 8, No Limitz and City Limits perform at 9, then Equinox at 10 p.m. At the end of the night will be a jam of all of the musicians together.
