Magic Blades Figure Skating Club hosts a free skating party to celebrate U.S. Figure Skating's National Skating Month. 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Tilton School Ice Rink.

Celebrity Bartender Benefit to celebrate heart transplant recipient John Ganong's third year of life with his new heart. 7 p.m. at the Weirs Beach Lobster Pound in Laconia. Donations collected will go to the Cardiac Transplant Division at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Al-Anon Meeting at the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia. 8 to 9:15 p.m. each Saturday in the first-floor conference room  Al-Anon offers hope and help to families of alcoholics. No dues or fees. All are welcome. Call 645-9518.
