The First Congregational Church in Meredith (FCCM) will be hosting a fundraising brunch beginning at 11 a.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-10, and under 6 are free.

Fundraising mattress sale hosted by the Gilford High School Pops and French Club. Noon to 5 p.m. at the Gilford Youth Center.

The Laconia Christian Science Church presents a talk entitled "The Healing Comforter" featuring guest speaker Mary Alice Rose of Brooklyn, Maryland. 2 p.m. at the church located at 136 Pleasant Street.

Mattress sale to benefit Gilford High School Pops and French Club, noon-5 p.m., Gilford Youth Center, 19 Potter Hill Road.

Those interested in becoming a volunteer "weed watcher" to help control variable milfoil infestation and other invasive plants and animals in the town of Moultonborough are invited to attend an informational session to learn about the Moultonborough Weedwatchers program and the training procedure. 1 p.m at the Moultonborough Library Community Room.

Annual Autism Center Walkathon held as part of National Autism Awareness Month. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning at Lakes Region Community Services in Laconia. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. The route is approximately 3.2 miles.

Family "Fun" Raiser held to raise money in support of Inter-Lakes Elementary School's Living Classroom Greenhouse Project. 1-4 p.m. at The Winnipesaukee Playhouse. Entertainment, activities, bake sale, poetry nature walk, face painting, plant your own seedling, and more. Free admission, donations will be collected for the greenhouse fund.

Beethoven concert featuring Gregg Pauly held as part of the 2014 Music Series sponsored by the Bank of New Hampshire. 3 p.m. in the Woodside Building at the Taylor Community in Laconia. Free and open to the public.
