TILTON — Barry K. Schroder, 54, of Tilton, died surrounded by his family on March 10, 2018, after a sudden illness.
Barry loved life and enjoyed skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, golfing and hanging around the fire with family and friends. He was truly blessed with all the family and friends that loved him.
Barry was employed at Webster Valve in Franklin for the last 32 years as an electrician and maintenance mechanic.
Family members include his parents, Frank and Doreen Schroder of Franklin; his wife of 27 years, Gina Sylvestre Schroder; and their son, Barry Jr., who were truly blessed to have him in their lives.
He also leaves a brother, Erik Schroder and his wife Lisa of Manchester and their two children, Emma and Sophie; a sister, Tammy Schroder Fisher and her husband Bill of Farmington and two children, Zachary and Stephen; and great-nephews Aiden and Collin.
Barry also leaves mother-in-law Michelle Sylvestre of Franklin; sister in-law Jane Sylvestre and her fiance Dan of Franklin; two brothers-in-law, Marcel Sylvestre and his fiancee Peggy of Sanbornton, and Tony Sylvestre and his wife Karen of Hill and their daughter, Marissa; and a greatnephew Ian Burley of Franklin.
He was predeceased by father-in-law Nelson “Sonny” Sylvestre.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 17, at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, from 1-4 p.m. Spring burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
