NASHUA— Jean Ellen Roth, 71, passed away on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.
She was born in Franklin on June 17, 1946, the daughter of Geraldine (Taylor) and the late Clayton F. J. Sargent.
Jean worked for 23 years as an administrator for the city of Nashua Financial Department and 11 years as a personal administrator at the Joseph Pollak Corporation, now the Stoneridge Corporation, in Boston. She also served in the Navy Reserve for two years.
Jean's greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother Geraldine Sargent, Jean is survived by her loving husband Glennon F. Roth of Nashua; her son Michael A. Lombardo Jr. and his wife Laurie of Las Vegas, Nevada; and a daughter, Michelle J. and her husband Chad Camirand of Merrimack; grandchildren, Michael A. Lombardo III, Alexa Elizabeth Lombardo, Brielle J. Lapiana and Joseph J. Lapiana Jr.; sisters, Cheryl and her husband Robert LaBrecque, and Joy and her husband James Jones; brothers, James Sargent and husband David Whalen, and Clayton Sargent and his wife Kim. Jean also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Barbara Tessier; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 9 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kinsley Street, Nashua.
