Natalie A. Stewart, 85
LACONIA — Natalie A. Stewart, 85, formerly of Wrentham, Massachusetts, passed peacefully on Aug. 9, 2017, in Laconia. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Robert Stewart who passed in 2006.
Born in Boston on July 13, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Constance (Degrazia) Ciaccio. She worked as a waitress many years prior to retirement.
Natalie is survived by her children, the Rev. Richard AuCoin, Phillip Taber, Charles W. Taber Jr., Debra Stender; and her brother and sisters, Catherine Felton, Phillip Ciaccio, Frances Short, and Audrey Manchester.
She was the mother of the late Donald AuCoin and Andrea Gaulzetti.
Natalie moved to Laconia after suffering a stroke in 2015 to reside with her son Richard and daughter-in-law Martha. She became an active member of the Lakes Region Vineyard Church community. Many called her “Their Noni.” As one friend put it, “She was Noni to us all.” Natalie had a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She also actively participated at the senior center in downtown Laconia and loved to play bingo. She learned to love coloring with pencils in her thematic coloring book. Natalie was an accomplished Italian cook and delighted in watching others enjoy what she had prepared. She was matriarch to five generations of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Remembering "Noni" a Life Celebration service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 20, after the morning worship service from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Lakes Region Vineyard Church, 175 Mechanic St., Laconia.
