Patriotic picnic tables donated to Veterans' Home

Students and faculty from the Life Centered Learning Institute ("LCLI") recently donated two red, white and blue colored picnic tables to the Residents of the New Hamphshire Veterans' Home in Tilton. Using lumber that was donated by Home Depot in Tilton, and paint contributed by Sherwin-Williams in Laconia, the students constructed and painted the picnic tables as part of a class project. Lakes Region Toastmasters seeks new members

The Lakes Region Toastmasters has set its goal to grow by ten new members this year. The group invites both men and women, ages 18 and over to attend its club's meetings, which are held at 5:45 p.m. at the Bonanza Restaurant, Route 3, Union Avenue in Laconia on the first and third Wednesday of each month.
