LACONIA – Taylor Community was recently recognized at the Volunteer NH Spirit of NH Awards Ceremony held at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord. Taylor Community Director of Resident Life Brenda Kean and Resident Volunteer Coordinator Charlotte Leavitt accepted the Champion Award on behalf of the Taylor Community.
Volunteer NH established the Spirit of New Hampshire Awards, a state-level recognition program to honor exemplary contributions to volunteerism. The Champion Award recognizes outstanding volunteer programs that provide the infrastructure for volunteers to be successful in their service. Awards in the Volunteer Program Champion category recognize excellent program management, fund development efforts that sustain volunteer programs, and commitment of time/resources to engage employees in community volunteer roles.
"We are sincerely honored," said Kean. "Our volunteers do amazing work that is so important to so many. I am very proud of the work Charlotte has done to bring our Volunteer Program to the next level."
