NE Wolves partner with NH Humane Society Nov. 18

LACONIA —The New England Wolves Junior hockey team is hosting its Saturday, Nov. 18, game at Merrill Fay Arena to benefit the New Hampshire Humane Society shelter. The NE Wolves will be donating 10 percent of the proceeds from that home game to the shelter, as well as collecting pet food and supplies for the shelter. The puck drops at 6:30 p.m. The shelter is always in need of non-clumping cat litter, canned wet dog and cat food, and office supplies, such as stamps and copy paper. "The New England Wolves junior hockey program has made it a concerted effort over the last several seasons to be ambassadors for the Lakes Region and expose our players to active volunteerism,” said Andrew Trimble, EHL U19 head coach. “We are partnering with the NH Humane Society again this year to run a food and goods drive to benefit the animals. We are Wolves, so why not help our own!"
“We love partnering with our local sports teams and other youth organizations,” said Lissa Mascio, development director at the NH Humane Society. “It is so important to spread our mission, and engage the next generation of volunteers and animal advocates.”
