Presentation on Concord Coach takes place Wednesday in Meredith

MEREDITH — Peter James from the Abbot-Downing Historical Society will do a multimedia presentation on Abbot & Downing and their world-famous Concord Coaches. The talk will feature photographs of Concord Coaches and some of the many other types of horse drawn and motorized vehicles produced in 100 years that the company was in business. A special feature will be photographs and a description of the coaches still remaining in New Hampshire. The presentation will end with a question and answer session.

Peter lives with his wife, Verna, two cats, and ten chickens in Grantham. He is a retired telephone engineer and is interested in the history that is all around us. His hobbies include woodworking, metalworking, antique fire trucks, antique John Deere tractors as well as the Concord Coaches.
